Invest in Our Inclusive Community

Your monthly contribution will impact the educational experience of all OCS students, as well as the remarkable work of all OCS teachers. All gifts, large and small, fund innovative programs, urgent priorities, and unexpected opportunities that arise during the academic year.

Our volunteer Board Members are asked to reflect on their finances and give OCS a personally sacrificial gift. This is a gift that they can afford that shows their dedication to our students' education and the work that the teachers are doing in the classroom. This amount will be different for everyone, for every family.

This year, we ask our families the same question. How much are you able to give to OCS so that the school can continue to provide high-quality, whole-child education for your child? If every family receiving this letter gave just $75 per month for the rest of the school year, we could raise over $150,000! Think about that, for just $2.50 per day from each family, we can keep providing the programs and services that make Our Community School one of the most sought-after TK-8 independent charter schools in the San Fernando Valley.

If $75 per month is out of reach, don’t let that stop you, because every contribution helps. If we can get every family to contribute, at any dollar amount, opportunities for significant outside funding become available to Our Community School. Your one-time $10 donation, if every family donates and gets us to 100% participation, could mean tens of thousands of dollars in additional funding.
